Today I am thankful for my amazing daughter in law. I thank God for putting her in my son's life, and I thank my son for sharing her with me.
But I also thank her for carrying so much of the social weight of now parenting, keeping all the parts and pieces of people together. I know this is not easy! And I know that her heart tears with the ups and downs of the whole family, and especially of that fully costumed foster kiddo in the photo. Since nobody can see his face, I can share a group photo from mini golf Saturday night. A kind-hearted woman is blessing to all and deserving of all we can do to help support her in her mission!
She's not only kind-hearted. She's capable and resilient and to repeat amazing.
May all be blessed in having this kind of person in your lives. And if you do, remember to tell them how much you appreciate it!
That is a pretty special daughter-in-law! Huge hugs to her.
