Of late, Ember is apparently thankful for finding an old/newly accessible place to hide (or to chase a bug). That little nose poking out under the slipcover skirt makes me smile, as long as I know she's not chewing on the couch from the bottom up!
Today I am thankful for Ember's growth in self-control over the past year. And I'm thankful for the lessons that have come to me as a result.
The tail end.

Yes, she really has come a long way and growing up so fast. Have a great day
ReplyDeleteIt's both the joy and the sadness of our fur-friends that their lives are shorter than our own. It enables us to see their growing up in a whirl, but also their growing old too quickly for our liking. Carl, at age 6 1/2 years, is already a middle-aged dog!
DeleteYes, LOL, as long as Ember isn’t chewing the bottom of the couch!
ReplyDeleteEmber has definitely matured this year, hasn’t she! She’s a good girl.
LOVE it . . . the “tail end.”
Grateful for sunshine today after rain and gray. Supposed to have more rain, but later. No problem w/rain at night, but the rule should be no rain during the day.
