This is another classically easy day of gratitude. In fact, Alicia (Mamie Allie, not my sister) used this one for the 19th. I am thankful to be alive, breathing, above ground, etc. Why is that natural for me on November 20th? Because of course it's the anniversary of my birth.
I remember mom telling me that I was born at something weird like 5 a.m., which might explain why I'm a morning person... or not!
Mom always used to say that we kept on living while we had something more to learn, or something more to give. Sounds like a good reason to hang out... learning, and sharing!
I hope today is a wonderful, satisfying day for you! Wishes for the Best Year of Your Life going forward!! I thank you for your messages you gift to us in this blog.

I found that "paw over my leg" particularly endearing, too. Which is why I pulled out the phone and snapped it, of course! But then, I have about a gazillion photos I take for the same reason... we love our littles, don't we? That photo I saw of your Miss Lilly in her warm hat... same!

ReplyDeleteThanks, Karen! Ember went off to day care, Prisoner came upstairs and hung out with me. I finished a novel, returned it to the library and picked up another. It was a wonderful introvert-style birthday!
