Today I told Facebook that I am thankful I don't have a deadline for when I have to get my gratitudes posted! Because I'm late posting even over there!
By the way, this is a "from the top" shot of Ember from Sunday, in her "We're supposed to go for a walk now, Mom" gate pose. I may be imagining things, but it looks like maybe her growth pattern has thinned just a shade. By the way, at the vet's office, when I dropped her off for boarding, I hopped her up on the scale for purposes of feeding guidance. She refuses to stop growing. 81 pounds now.
Her paws don't show in this shot, but she doesn't look to me as though she's grown into them yet.
Life is good. Keep on Sparking, my friends!
Yes, each new day is definitely on my gratitude list.
ReplyDeleteHOLY BIG GIRL! 81 lbs. for Ember. OHhhhh boy (or rather, OHhhhhhh girl!)

Yeah, I outweigh her still, but when she reaches her full growth it won't be by a whole lot!
DeleteThat will be a challenge!

Yes, thankfully, she's mostly a good girl! I had her in to the vet for the diarrhea and her paw "worrying" this morning, and she tipped the scale at 75 pounds. Came home with a pharmacy for the cupboard, anti-inflammatory for the paw, probiotics and antibiotics for the digestive issues. Dr. Bennett is the same vet that gave Ember her very first "well puppy" exam, and they get along really well. Mom will be a nurse for a while!
DeleteOh, big girl!!! She might need her own recliner. :D Good thing you're all over it with the training; she'll be such a wonderful companion.
ReplyDeleteTraining is an absolute MUST for a dog who becomes stronger than her owner in adulthood. Had to start from day one, and I knew I had to.
DeleteI am grateful for the beautiful day. 🌞
ReplyDeleteMe, too!

ReplyDeletelol, I like the idea of getting her her own chair...after she stops eating them, of course....lol, maybe thrift store or garage sale 🤔
We shall see what's available, "after she stops eating them".
DeleteShe looks great. I can't get over her size. I've gotten used to small dogs.
ReplyDeleteShe doesn't look that "big" to me, but boy, howdy, when I need to convince her to "hop up" into the car... I notice, for sure!
DeleteI love being retired and enjoy the natural routine of getting up and going to bed. It is so nice to be able to enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree!
