Sunday morning, I am thankful for the soft, foggy pre-dawn hours. It smelled so fresh. It was amazingly calm and mild for the beginning of November.
Total training failure this morning, on the other hand. I was trying to let Ember sniff at the brush. She managed to swipe it with tail wagging happily, drag in a game of "keep away" into her X-Pen. It was fruitless to try to get her to "drop it", "bring me", etc. as she's fascinated by it. She completely destroyed it before our morning walk.Tony's a lot better at grooming her than I am. Oh, well! She's scheduled with him on Monday, thank goodness.
Clocks have now been changed. And something extra to be thankful for, I slept in my own bed overnight Saturday to Sunday. Granted it was in fits and starts as I kept trying to get up between the showers to encourage an outdoor jaunt on Ember's part.
Life is good! Spark on!
Oh, I know that feeling! Some days, training can be a real challenge, especially with a curious pup like Ember. But hey, at least she had fun, right? And it's great that Tony can help with grooming – we all need a little help sometimes.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you got to enjoy those peaceful pre-dawn hours. It's always nice to start the day off right.
Hope you have an amazing day! (((BIG HUGS)))
LOL! At least she had fun... I just don't want this kind of fun to be "on the regular" although I fear that ship may well have sailed.
DeleteShe was very glad to see Tony Monday morning, waggling all over the place, even though it was her normal nap time.
Hope you have a great Monday!
It was a wonderful start to the day once the clocks changed and I am so very thankful for that. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteSunday's victory: I got the clock in the car changed! Monday's "oops", I can't figure out how to change the clock on the sprinkler controls. Oh, well, I might have time to go read some instructions now, and for this I am also thankful.
DeleteI am thankful for complete chores.
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to check off "chores done", isn't it? Simple, repeat ones like laundry, or changing a light bulb count!
